Michael Forman's award winning work now
passes into its second decade. His dramatic and creative
spontaneity has always been unique to the industry. Where many
modern photographers simply take a multitude of photos
and hope to achieve a result, Michael is
proactive and directs his scenes like actors on a stage.
His intensity to achieve the best photos, not the most,
shows in the images displayed here. His
work has appeared on television and magazines, both in
Australia and overseas, and TAFE employs Michael to share
his approach with budding photographers.
It
is Michael's personal theatrical experience that permeates through
his imagery. Each scene becomes a passionate thrust of drama. Few photographers exhibit
the ability to direct people and scenes this way. Michael
was formally taught in the early nineties and graduated
in 1995. It was due to his vibrant personality and
belief in his shooting style, that led him down the path
of teaching.
Michael:
"I am always chasing that perfect photo. Despite
the images you see here, I believe that there is always
one more unique scene to find, create and capture. The
journey is the passion." |
