The Most Psychologically Disturbing Novel Ever!
Could SEETHINGS be the shock-novel of the century?
If reviews are anything to go by, this psychologically disturbing novel well on it’s way to becoming so.
SEETHINGS is a relatively new title, published through Kindle and Amazon, written by Australian author Michael Forman. He promotes his work online through social media and his niche-styled website. Yes, it’s a self-published title but don’t let that put you off. This book packs a punch!
A Psychologically Disturbing Novel To Frighten
Just when you think everything that can be written into fiction has been, another example comes along to challenge that thought. This one has a simple foundation stone at its base – a sexless marriage – then takes a reader’s emotion and screws with it. This author hits a very raw nerve time and time again. Readers won’t sit still when turning his pages.
I too wriggled, chewed nails, pencils and the heads off anyone who interrupted me. It’s one nasty tale of well-written emotional torments culminating into an explosive and unexpected outcome. It’s neo-noir, erotica, thriller and horror all rolled into a single narrative. And it’s been done exceedingly well, I might add
At times, I found it highly disturbing, even for me. Some fair-stomached readers would do better to read Stephen King for quiet comfort. I found myself shouting at the characters trying to right their wrongs but realizing that nothing I did changed the devious disaster that was about to unfold. Forman has brought the worst of humanity out in a novel and turned it into something quite extraordinary.
The book is 381 pages long and definitely well worth the read.
